Do you make lace to order?
Yes. We work bobbin and needle lace by hand to a pattern or your own design, in thread chosen for the piece. Tell us your idea and we will advise and prepare a quote.
Can you make a wedding veil?
Yes. We work veils, handkerchiefs and keepsakes by hand, a piece to mark the day and to keep.
Do you work for collectors?
Yes. We work, repair and conserve lace for collectors and the trade, and advise on thread, pattern and care.
Can you repair old lace?
Often, yes. Torn and tired old lace can usually be repaired and conserved, respecting the lace. Show us the piece and we will advise.
How do I commission a piece?
Visit the workshop or write to us. For commissions we agree the pattern, thread and timing together.
What does handmade lace cost?
It depends on the piece, the thread and the work involved. Tell us what you have in mind and we will give you a clear price.
